Kazan's Sketch 37- 2 Sketches 4 You

I'm am in need of more sympathy cards this week as I prepare to attend the funeral of a friend. My creative mojo is in a bit of shock and starting with a sketch always helps when I'm not in a creative mood. The card I'm sharing is based on Kazan's Sketch 37 over at 2 Sketches 4 You.

The sketch is above and here's my card (supplies are listed below):

Image: With Sympathy Stamp (from my old stash)
Ink: Black Pigment Ink Embossed with Clear Embossing Powder
Paper: Brown Cardstock Base, Designer Paper from K & Company Life's Journey Stack, White Cardstock for Inside Layer
Accessories: Sewing Machine and Sage Green Thread (Zig Zag Stitch), Circle Nesties, Stitched Ribbon (from stash), Paper Flowers (Oriental Trading Company), Flat Back Pearl- Chocolate

So happy to see you sewing your cards together again - your creations are always beautiful, but that stitching that you do is over the top. Gorgeous card!

Lovely card! That patterned paper is so pretty and your sewing is divine. Nice sketch choice, too.

This card is a worthy keepsake. You have put so much detail and effort into it and I know the recipient will love it and see how much you cared about your friend.
Big warm fuzzy hugs as you go through this sad period in your life
